Job Description

Our clients have been spring calving for over 15 years and were some of the first UK farmers to embrace the system. The farm benefits from excellent grassland management, tracks and water system which is continually developed and maintained.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 This is a very simple system which is focused almost solely on milk from grass with very little concentrate. Most of the cows are out wintered (off farm) on beet and silage bales. Although housing is available on the home farm. Milk is sold to Arla on a manufacturing contract.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               In return we offer a competitive salary (£40-45,000) with profit share bonus schemes, a large 3 bedroom house close to the farm which is free from rent and council tax, mobile phone and access to the farm vehicle. The local village (less than 1 mile) has a reputable pub, various successful sports clubs, primary school and church.
