We have new contract vacancy for an experienced and capable herd manager to join a family farm milking 300 Holstein cows yielding just over 9,000 litres on 2 x milking. This being part of a large farming estate.
Besides some milkings, in a very well-kept Herringbone parlour, you will be involved with all operations regarding looking after the cows, so the focus will be on herd management of the highest level; to include vet visits, calvings, drying off, and looking after the staff rota.
A very competitive salary and a 3-bedroom house on the unit is available for the successful candidate.
