We require an enthusiastic and diligent dairy Herdsperson with a minimum of three years’ experience to join our keen four-person team producing high quality milk for a premier retailer aligned supply contract in a small village location in Wiltshire.
We require a cow enthusiast with a strong team ethos who can undertake one milking per day. The team share all duties; the job will include TMR feeding and AI skills a strong advantage.
The cows calve all year round, are TMR fed, rotational paddock grazed, cubicle housed, yield 10,000 litres and are milked through a modern milking and handling set up including a modern Westphalia parlour with ADF, auto feeding and auto drafting.
An excellent package is available with a lovely 3-bedroom house with garage and front and back gardens, free of rent. There are excellent local schools and good time off based on every other weekend plus other days as we look for a sensible work life balance.
