An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated all round dairy team member to join a progressive, family-run multi dairy site, beef, and arable enterprise spanning 2,400 acres between Taunton and Ilminster, Somerset.
The role will support all aspects of day-to-day cow care and herd management during the busy autumn bock calving period on a 450-cow grazing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Twice-daily milking in a modern 20/40 GEA parlour (featuring ACR, auto ID, segregation gate, and automated footbath)
• Calf rearing using H&L CalfExpert automatic feeders
• Contributing to herd health, fertility, and grazing management initiatives
• Working collaboratively within a young, enthusiastic team
Candidate Requirements:
• Previous dairy experience preferred
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Full UK driving licence essential
