The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of the dairy unit when the manager is off and carry out all tasks required of them on a day-day basis.
There is great job variation, with all cow stock work, some tractor driving and calf rearing.
The 250 Friesian / Holstein cows are milked through new Lely Astronaut robots; cubicle housed all year round and fed a full TMR. All youngstock is also reared on the same unit.
