Our client is a small family-run organic dairy farm milking 120 Jersey cows, with an on-farm diversified milk processing facility.

Job Skills

Key Responsibilities

Milking, scraping, and general herd work
Calf rearing
Tractor and telehandler operations
Foot trimming
Calf disbudding
Artificial insemination (AI) – experience advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate

Candidate Requirements

Enjoys working with livestock
Strong stockmanship skills and commitment to animal welfare
Reliable, practical, and hardworking
Able to work well as part of a small team
Previous dairy farming experience preferred
Experience with the duties listed above would be beneficial
