A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of a successful dairy business in the heart of Cheshire.
The successful candidate will already have management experience of high yielding cows. They will need to be a flexible, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who has extremely high standards with a particular eye for attention to detail, able to think for themselves and in time be able to run all elements of a modern dairy herd.
Someone who is a good decision maker, great with staff and willing to be dedicated to animal health and welfare as well as a good communicator and manager are essential qualities for this role.
The farm has had significant investment over the years resulting in a very well equipped and efficient dairy unit and now requires a head herdsperson to take it to the next level and help progress the business further. The herd is currently housed all year round and milked a mixture of robots and herringbone parlour.
